Why did you receive a survey?
A company you work with wants to know how the relationship is working and where they can improve. They have asked SurveyGauge to ask the questions on their behalf. Here you can read who we are and what happens with your answers.
Who is behind it?
The survey comes from a company you are a customer or partner of. SurveyGauge is the Danish platform they use to collect and analyse feedback. We work on their behalf and on their instructions.
Why are they asking you?
Because your experience is the best source of what works and what does not. Your answers are used to prioritise improvements and follow up where something falls short. It is not a sales campaign.
What happens with your answers?
Your answers go to the company that sent the survey. SurveyGauge processes them only on their behalf and uses them for nothing else. All data is stored in the EU.
How we handle your data
We advise companies on trust, so we have to be able to document it ourselves. Here is what applies to your answers.
Data processor, not data owner
The company that sent the survey is the data controller. SurveyGauge is the data processor and acts only on their instructions and under a data processing agreement.
Hosted in the EU
All answers are stored on servers in the EU. SurveyGauge is certified to ISO 27001 and ISO 27017, the international standards for information security and cloud security.
No tracking
Emails from SurveyGauge contain neither open-tracking pixels nor tracked links. We record only what is needed to deliver the survey and save your answers.
Secure connection
The survey opens on app.surveygauge.com over an encrypted connection. We never ask for passwords or payment details.
Unsubscribe at any time
If you do not want to receive further surveys, use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email. We will then send you no more on behalf of that company.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct and delete your answers. Contact the company that sent the survey, or write to us and we will help.

Is it worth answering?
Yes. The companies that use SurveyGauge read the answers, and it is the most direct way to get something changed in the relationship.

Are my answers anonymous?
No. The company that sent the survey can see who answered, so they can follow up on what you write. SurveyGauge uses your answers for nothing other than delivering them to the company.
Who can see my answers?
The company that sent the survey, and SurveyGauge as the data processor on their behalf. Your answers are not sold on and are not used to market to you.
Why does the email come from a different sender than the company I know?
The survey is sent from SurveyGauge's systems on behalf of the company. The sender name is usually the company's own, but the technical sending domain can differ. If you are unsure whether an email is genuine, write to hello@surveygauge.com and we will confirm it.
Is the link in the email safe?
Yes. The link opens the survey on app.surveygauge.com over an encrypted connection. You are never asked for passwords or payment details. If you are, the email is not from us.
Can I unsubscribe?
Yes. Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Click it and we will send you no further surveys on behalf of that company. You can also contact the company directly.
Can I have my answers corrected or deleted?
Yes. Contact the company that sent the survey, as they are the data controller. You can also write to hello@surveygauge.com and we will make sure the request reaches the right place.
